Fair and Balanced – 40 Android Apps for Teaching & Learning

Scales of Justice

“Fair and balanced” — that’s the slogan of Fox news. Most people realize that Fox is neither “fair nor balanced” and that is safe to say with me in terms of my enthusiasm for any mobile technology that isn’t Apple. I admit it: I am neither “fair nor balanced” when it comes to that topic. I know this about myself and many of you know it about me as well. I am in love with my iPhone and iPad and see no reason to engage in a Samsung or an Android to meet my technology needs. That being said, however, in an effort to improve my inclusiveness when it comes to technological products that some of you use on a normal basis, I present to you today a great article from ProfHacker of the Chronicle of Higher Education:

40 Android Apps for Teaching & Learning

Many of the Android apps discussed in the article above have already been highlighted in Our Favorite Apps section of our Cal Poly iPad Support Site. If you’re an Apple iOS user, check those out as well. (Yep, even in my effort to be inclusive about the Android I feel compelled to stress my Apple bias.¬†Nope, I’m not fair and balanced — I know.)winking-smiley
